Lolita V. Mohyla AM

Since 1984 Lolita has experience as a registered Architect, on a national and international level. She regularly provides Arbitration and Expert Witness services in legal dispute cases (litigation and arbitration). She is a qualified Grade 1 Arbitrator, capable of dealing with any level of dispute, and specialises in construction industry matters.

Lolita is also a Mediator, Conciliator, Expert Determinator and registered Adjudicator.

Lolita’s professional qualifications include both Bachelor and Masters (by research) Degrees in Architecture from the University of Adelaide; a Professional Certificate in Arbitration and Mediation from the University of Adelaide; a Certificate of Adjudication from the Resolution Institute (formerly Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators); and a Company Directors Course Diploma from the University of Sydney.

Lolita holds numerous professional memberships including Life Fellow of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects, Fellow of the Resolution Institute; Fellow of the Institute of Company Directors; and a Member of the Council of Australasian Tribunals.

She is and/or has been an active member of Committees and Boards of various institutional organisations, universities and government bodies.

Part of her career was spent in academia and included teaching and research into construction law, building contracts and project delivery systems. Lolita also authored ‘Construction in Australia – Law and Project Delivery’, published in 1996 by the Law book Company, Sydney.

Lolita, in conjunction with her architectural and architectural practices, is also a permanent Commissioner of the Environment, Resources and Development Court of South Australia.

In the Queen’s Birthday Honours 2021, Lolita Mohyla was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia for “significant service to architecture, and to construction law”.


Ben Whittaker

(B.Arch., Prof.Cert.Med, M.R.I.)

On completing and attaining his Practitioner’s Certificate in Mediation in 2014, Ben joined LVM Group as a Mediator. Through Ben’s community service activities, he has had extensive experience in mediation and counselling.

Ben is a member of the Panel of External Mediators for the Magistrates Court of South Australia, a member of the Resolution Institute, and a NMAS-accredited Mediator. 

Ben is also a member of Mohyla Architects Interior Designers’ team of professionals, an association which dates back to 1999. During his time with Mohyla, he has been involved in numerous projects in South Australia, New South Wales and Queensland.

Ben is a registered Architect in South Australia and, along with the Principals, is a member of the in-house design team and responsible for client relations and business development.
